LA ArtZone - 1903 LACMA with Charles White: A Retrospective

A major retrospective of painter and muralist Charles White at LACMA traces his evolving subject matter and style during periods spent in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. White was a seminal figure in the Black Arts Movement of the 1960's and 70's. A concurrent exhibit at a satellite campus explores his impact on other artists.
